Which model should I use?
Fast (MODNet, Apache-2.0) is a tiny portrait model, great for headshots and passport photos. High quality (BiRefNet-lite, MIT) handles products, objects and complex edges much better, but is a larger one-time download and is best with a GPU-enabled browser (recent Chrome, Edge or Safari).
