How to print passport size photos at home
- Take a well-lit photo against a plain white or light wall, facing the camera.
- Upload it above and pick your country’s template. Where an official head size is published, red guide lines show where the top of the head and chin should sit.
- Choose your paper: 4 × 6 photo paper fits 8 photos of 35 × 45 mm, A4 fits 30.

How many passport photos fit on 4x6 photo paper?
Eight 35 × 45 mm photos fit on a 4 × 6 inch sheet (102 × 152 or 102 × 155 mm) in landscape with room to cut. Two 2 × 2 inch photos fit.
How many passport size photos fit on A4?
Thirty 35 × 45 mm photos (5 × 6) fit on A4, and fifteen 2 × 2 inch photos.
How do I print passport photos at the correct size?

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The photo is processed entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.
Does this tool check official photo rules?
No. It sizes and lays out your photo and shows the official head-size range where one is published. Check your passport office’s rules for background, expression and glasses.

India uses 35 × 45 mm on a white background, with the face covering 80–85% of the photo (about 36–38 mm head height).
